THE BIRTH OF The Worklab:

Turning theory into action

As we’ve said, the Worklab is the place where we live what we do, constantly evolving our own work environment to study how changes affect our productivity, collaboration, and innovation. Because we saw the tsunami of change coming, we developed a fluid environment where we could test our theories and work through our own technology/people/space issues using the products and technology we sell.

The Worklab LESSONS LEARNED:

Because of the experimental spirit of the Worklab, we’re constantly learning from it. Some of the biggest things we’ve learned so far include:

how to increase access and interaction by removing barriers to collaboration
how to create spaces conducive to mentoring and close interaction
how to create boundaries without using walls
how to integrate the latest technologies to make collaborative spaces as functional as possible
